Hannah Golightly

Qualified Level 5 Soft Tissue Therapy from Oxford School of Sports Massage

After spending two years frontline as a Paramedic within the NHS, I decided it was time to broaden my knowledge via different avenues. This included spending additional hours delivering coronavirus vaccines to those in need and searching for further education. I was introduced to the idea of Soft Tissue Therapy by a fellow Paramedic and began my course at Oxford School of Sports Massage in 2021.

Working as a full time Paramedic has allowed me to witness first-hand the ups and downs of the National Health Service, seeing those in need receive the help they require as well as those who have sadly exhausted all avenues. This experience has aided me in discovering the huge variety of individuals who could benefit from sports massage.

From my experience so far, Soft Tissue Therapy can have a huge benefit on a variety of individuals, whether athletic or not.

I have always spent time in sport, which has most recently included playing for Wycombe Wanderers Women FC and have now started training in endurance events such as triathlons and duathlons. My aim is to continue working as a Paramedic alongside Soft Tissue Therapy, all whilst training hard in sport.

Qualifications:

– Level 3 sports massage
– Level 5 soft tissue therapist
– CrossFit Level 1 coach

“I had a great experience with Hannah. I came with ongoing neck and shoulder tightness and had the best neck massage I have ever had (and I have had a few!). Hannah was very thorough and professional. I felt a noticeable improvement the same day and the day afterwards in the mobility and comfort around my neck and shoulders. I will definitely be returning and would recommend Hannah to friends.”
